The Peradze Rkatsiteli Qvevri is made from the fantastic Rkatsiteli grape of the same name. It is a dry amber wine which has been produced using the qvevri method and has also been placed on (young, French) oak barrels. The vines of the Peradze vineyard are located near the village of Tibaani in the Kakheti region (the wine region of Georgia).
This beautiful wine with a beautiful amber color has tasty aroma’s of dried fruit, pear, tea and the minerality that the terroir has imparted. The wine can best be described as round, full bodied and fresh. With moderate acidity and soft tannins, the winemaker Irakli Peradze has produced a fantastic wine that we are proud to offer in our range.
This wine pairs well with sushi, a goat cheese (salad) or poultry.
