The winery Winiveria combines with this Winiveria Saperavi the traditional Qvevri method with the current European method whereby ripening takes place in oak barrels. The result is a fantastic wine, which both the strength and taste of Saperavi grape develops well during the fermentation in the Qvevri, but also the tannins have softened by the wine then 12 months on oak to rest.
Only a small number of bottles of this fantastic wine have been bottled.
