Ocho Mtsvane 2019

This Ocho Mtsvane wine is made from the similarly named Kakhuri Mtsvane grape, an endemic variety of grape grown in the vineyards of Alaverdi village, Akhmeta, Kakheti.

The wine spends 6 months ageing on skin in the Qvevri. This delicate and harmonious amber wine is special by notes of Georgian spices, apricot and dried apples. It is a passionate, energetic wine with strong tannin and a pleasant acidity.

This wine combines perfect with: Hard cheese, grilled beef and ribs of lamb.

Serve chilled at 12-14°.
