This Ocho Rkatsiteli wine is made from the similarly named Rkatsiteli grape, an endemic variety of grape grown in the vineyards of Alaverdi village, Akhmeta, Kakheti.
The wine spends 6 months ageing on skin in the Qvevri. This lustrous amber wine is special by its aromas of herbs and Georgian spices.
It combines perfect with: cheese, fried chicken, beef boiled with spices, stewed lamb with herbs and sour plums.
Serve chilled at 12-14°.
