Wine People Shavkapito 2019
This dark ruby red Qvevri wine is made by Evgenia Grigorieva from the Shavkapito grape variety grown in Saguramo, Kartli region. The wine is produced in a traditional way, which means that the fermentation of the grapes in a Qvevri (a large earthenware pot, which is buried in the ground) takes place without the addition of yeast.
The wine goes very well with lamb and spiced meats.
