This beautiful Dakishvili Red wine is made from the Saperavi and the Cabernet-Sauvignon grape. The Dakishvili family is a real winemakers family where wine making is passed on from generation to generation. Giorgi Dakishvili, once chief wine maker at Teliani Valley, now at Schuchmann / Vinoterra also has its own vineyards Vita Vinea, Orgo / Teleda. For the first time, Giorgi has now made wines which he releases under the family name Dakishvili. And it is understandable why he proudly puts his name on these wines: they are fantastic wines!
The grapes are grown in the heart of the village of Kondoli on the right bank of the Alazani river in Kakheti.

This beautiful Dakishvili Family Selection Red Cuvee 2018 wine is the result of years of experience of the Dakishvili family and the famous winemaker Giorgi Dakishvili.
He knows how to use the traditional Qvevri method like no other to make the beautiful Saperavi grape a real taste experience. The combination with the Caubernet-Sauvignon grape gives the wine even more complexity which guarantees a wonderful taste experience.
This wine has a very limited edition and can be enjoyed immediately, but can also be stored (under good temperature conditions) until 2030.
The Dakishvili family have a history of winemaking. Giorgi Dakishvili is already the 3rd generation of winemakers, and his son Temuri the 4th.
With such experience, it is not surprising that any of their wineshave been awarded (international) medals and Giorgi (Gogi) is considered one of the best wine makers of Georgia.
