The wine is made from the Nero d’Avola grape, a native variety in Sicily. It is a selection of the best organically grown grapes. After a long fermentation in which the must comes into contact with the skin to enhance color, power, and aromas, the wine is pressed. 50% matures for 6 months in tanks and the other 50% in wooden barrels.
Deep ruby red color. On the nose, aromas of red and black fruit, spicy with hints of eucalyptus and notes of oak. This wine has a full body with a long finish.
This wine is delicious with aged cheeses, red meat, game, and wild boar.
