The Kolkha Rkatsiteli is a dry white wine, from the Rkatsiteli grape variety by the same name.
This grape variety is one of the oldest cultivated grape varieties – remains of it have been found in over 5000 year old Qvevri’s.
This is also one of the grape varieties grown outside of Georgia. This is mainly due to the fact that this wine enjoyed enormous popularity in the former Soviet Union. To meet the demand, this grape was also grown in other member states in that period.
This wine has a light yellow color with aroma notes of fruit with white flesh. A light and balanced bitterness makes this wine a unique and elegant wine.
The wine is very easy to combine with a range of dishes ranging from fish to pork and vegetables.
