General Information
Vanita Nero d’Avola Appassite Sicilia is an intense, ripe red wine from the sun-drenched island of Sicily. The wine is made from 100% Nero d’Avola, the most well-known native red grape of the island, using the appassimento method, where the grapes are partially dried to enhance concentration and flavor depth.
The combination of Sicily’s warm climate and this traditional technique results in a powerful wine with rich fruit notes, soft tannins, and a velvety mouthfeel. Vanita works with respect for nature and tradition, giving this wine a pure and authentic expression.

Fun Fact
The appassimento method, famous from Northern Italy, is applied here in Sicily to give the Nero d’Avola character extra intensity and softness. Through the natural drying of the grapes before pressing, a wine is created that is rich, soft, and full of aromas, without losing its Mediterranean freshness.
