General Information
Artizani Amber is an intriguing amber-colored wine from the Kakheti region in Georgia, made from the aromatic Kisi grape. This wine is vinified without the use of qvevri or oak aging. Instead, it undergoes natural fermentation with extended skin contact, resulting in an intense color, firm structure, and pronounced character.
The winemakers behind Artizani intentionally choose a minimalist approach: spontaneous fermentation, no fining or filtering, and no artificial additives. This wine symbolizes the raw, pure craftsmanship of the new generation of Georgian winemakers.
Tasting Profile
Warm amber in color, slightly cloudy due to its unfiltered nature. The aroma combines dried citrus, chamomile, orange peel, and light spiciness. The taste is dry, with extracted tannins and fresh acidity, followed by a long, dry finish with floral and earthy notes.
An orange wine with structure and liveliness, but without oxidative or wood influence – purely driven by the power of the grape and skin.

Fun Fact
Although many Georgian amber wines are fermented in underground qvevris, Artizani Amber proves that modern cellar techniques (such as fermentation in stainless steel) can also produce a powerful skin-contact wine. The Kisi grape excels in this: aromatic, with beautiful acidity and enough grip to create an intense yet balanced wine. This bottle is a tribute to purity – without embellishments, but with character.
