Chona’s Marani Mtsvane & Rkatsiteli is a dry amber wine made from the Rkatsiteli and Mtsvane grapes. The wine is fermented on the grape skins in a qvevri (a large clay pot embedded in the ground), according to 8,000-year-old traditional Georgian technology. A complex bouquet of ripe fruit, apricot, pear, and quince is blended with tarragon and mint notes that are characteristic of Kakhetian Mtsvane, making the wine soft and flavorful.
The wine pairs well with grilled pork, poultry, cheese, and baked fish.
Enjoy the wine preferably between 16 and 18 degrees Celsius.
