General Information
Wine People Amber Blend Kakheti is a powerful amber wine from qvevri, made from the indigenous grape varieties Rkatsiteli and Kakhuri Mtsvane. This skin-fermented wine comes from Manavi, in the eastern Georgian region of Kakheti. The wine is produced by David Makhaladze, a 42-year-old insurance advisor and passionate wine lover. He made his first wine in 2021 in a friend’s cellar and is now working on building his own wine cellar. The vinification takes place entirely in traditional qvevris, without additives.
