This wine is made from Nero d’Avola, an indigenous grape variety from Sicily. The grapes for this wine are lightly pressed to achieve a good balance between fruit and tannins. The maceration and fermentation take place at a controlled temperature for 10-12 days. The wine ages in stainless steel tanks.
