To get straight to the point: a good ice wine does not have to be expensive! And this fantastic ice wine from the winery Kakhuri Gvinis Marani proves it. The wine is made from hand-picked grapes which are harvested after the first snowflakes have just rested on the grapes. The grapes are of the Cabernet-Sauvignon variety. This late harvest provides many beautiful residual sugars, which remain nicely present through cooling during the fermentation process.
The result: a high-quality, tasty dessert wine with peach, apricot and honey aromas.
