General Information
Gurashvili Mtsvane Qvevri wine is a traditional amber wine from Kakheti, made from 100% Mtsvane Kakhuri. The wine is fully vinified in qvevris (underground clay vessels), where grape skins macerate in the must. This method provides depth, grip, and aromatic complexity. Winemaker Zviad Gurashvili works on a small scale and artisanally, producing his wines without additives or filtration. His vineyards are located near Akhmeta, a classic subregion in the area.
