General Information
Domaine Prin Corton Grand Cru ‘Bressandes’ 2013 is a classic, powerfully refined red Burgundy from one of the most prestigious Grand Cru vineyards in the Côte de Beaune: Corton Bressandes. This lieu-dit is located on the east flank of the Montagne de Corton, where limestone marl soils provide depth, structure, and impressive aging potential.
Domaine Prin is a family business rooted in Ladoix. Since 1994, it has been led by Jean Luc Boudrot, who took full control of the estate from his family in 2004. Today, he cultivates about 6 hectares spread across Ladoix, Aloxe-Corton, and Savigny-les-Beaune. The vineyards are managed sustainably according to the principles of viticulture raisonnée, with mechanical weed control, natural fertilization, and manual harvesting.
The grapes for this Grand Cru are fermented in tanks, after which the wine matures for at least a year in older oak barrels. Some of the vines are over 80 years old, contributing to the expression and concentration.

Fun Fact
The Grand Cru Corton Bressandes produces wines that are typical of the Montagne de Corton: powerful yet elegant, with a mineral undertone and long aging potential. 2013 was a classic, cooler year in Burgundy, with freshness, fine tannins, and great aging capacity. This cuvée is now drinkable but will continue to develop for many years.
