General Information
Becker Landgraf J2 Grauburgunder comes from Rheinhessen, one of Germany’s most dynamic wine regions. The winery Becker Landgraf, led by Julia and Johannes Landgraf, is known for terroir-driven wines with a focus on precision and purity.
For this cuvée, they use exclusively Grauburgunder (Pinot Gris) from limestone-rich soils. Part of the wine is aged in oak, which adds extra depth and structure. The J2 line represents a personal selection by the winemakers: complex, characterful, and gastronomic.

Fun Fact
Grauburgunder is the German name for Pinot Gris. In Rheinhessen, this grape variety often produces wines with both softness and tension, especially on limestone-rich soils such as around Eppelsheim, where Becker Landgraf is located. The J2 series emphasizes the role of both winemakers (Julia & Johannes) and their shared vision of wine: clear, layered, and impeccably pure.
