General information
Vardzia Terraces Chitistvala is a natural wine from Samtskhe-Javakheti, a mountainous region in southern Georgia. The grapes grow on volcanic soils at high altitude.
This red wine is made from the indigenous Chitistvala grape, which is found nowhere else. The grapes are hand-harvested. They then spontaneously ferment in qvevri, without added sulfites.
Thanks to a prolonged skin maceration, the wine develops depth and structure. Additionally, the winery works biodynamically, with respect for nature and tradition.
Taste profile of Vardzia Terraces Chitistvala
