General Information
The Ron Zacapa Centenario 23 Year is a showcase of exceptional craftsmanship from Guatemala, produced through a complex ‘Sistema Solera’ process in which rums of different ages and profiles are blended. The ingredients are mainly fresh sugarcane juice, carefully distilled and aged in a series of barrels previously containing bourbon, sherry, and Pedro Ximenez wines. This multiple aging process results in a deep and layered flavor, with both climate and altitude influencing it – the aging takes place at an altitude of 2300 meters above sea level, making the rum exceptionally smooth.
