General Information
Ocho Goruli Mtsvane is a powerful amber wine from the village of Plevi, in the Kartli region. The wine is made from the indigenous grape variety Goruli Mtsvane, one of the most important and characteristic varieties of this central wine region.
The vinification is carried out entirely according to the ancient Georgian method: spontaneous fermentation with wild yeasts in underground qvevris, with a skin contact period of 1 month. This gives the wine its characteristic color, grip, and pronounced flavor.
