### Fun Fact
The name Nobeltje originated when Willem Barend Nobel developed his own drink around 1902 for hotel guests in Ballum. The combination of liqueur and spirits proved so popular that “Nobeltje” quickly became known throughout the entire island—and later all over the Netherlands. The exact recipe has never been made public and is still kept by the Nobel family.
