General Information
Moersleutel Fire is a Quadrupel Mash Stout with a robust 12% alcohol, brewed in collaboration with Crisp Malt. This stout is entirely made from English ingredients, including two heritage malts: Chevallier® Heritage Malt and Plumage Archer® Malt. Fire is mashed four times to ensure maximum flavor extraction and also contains classic English hop varieties such as Bramling Cross and East Kent Goldings.
This non-adjunct stout is powerful, pure, and complex, with deep malt layers, hints of marmalade, and an elegant, clean finish. The malt selection and traditional English hops create an authentic and intense flavor profile.
Flavor Profile of Moersleutel Fire
Moersleutel Fire opens with a full body and pronounced aromas of marmalade, blackcurrants, and dark malt tones. In taste, you experience a rich interplay of caramel, spicy undertones, and a gentle touch of honey. The Bramling Cross hop adds complexity with subtle spiciness, while the East Kent Goldings provide an earthy depth. The finish is powerful but balanced, with a long, warm aftertaste.
