General Information
Juttertje Kruidenbitter is an authentic Texel herbal liqueur that has been on the market since the late 1970s. The origin of the family business De Wit, however, dates back to 1930, when they started in the beverage trade on Texel. The recipe for Juttertje was accidentally discovered during a company takeover: the family found an old notepad with recipes, including one for a herbal bitter. After some adjustments, the taste proved to be surprisingly good – and thus Juttertje was born. It is handcrafted from 14 different herbs and contains 30% alcohol.
