The vineyards with Verdejo are located in the west of Segovia. The soil consists of sand covered with alluvial pebbles. The nutrient-poor soil, combined with the strongly fluctuating temperatures—up to 25 degrees Celsius cooler at night than during the day—gives this wine the freshness for which Verdejo is known.
Juicy and ripe, with pineapple, pear, and yellow apple aromas accompanied by hints of mango. A beautiful balance between the lively structure and juicy texture. A mineral note enhances the long finish.
This wine is delicious with seafood such as stuffed mussels, oysters, shrimp, scallops, and fish. Also lovely with rice and pasta.
