Insel Summer Ale is a fresh and fruity ale from the award-winning German craft brewery Insel Brauerei, located on the island of Rügen. This 4.9% alcohol Session Ale is specially brewed to capture the essence of summer in aroma, color, and taste.

The brewers combine innovation with traditional fermentation techniques and use a unique hop blend of Tango and El Dorado. The result is a refreshing blond beer with tropical fruit notes, a soft body, and a wonderfully balanced hop character. Like all beers from Insel Brauerei, this Summer Ale is unpasteurized and unfiltered – craftmanship in every glass.

Flavor Profile

Sunny yellow in color, with a light, natural haze. Pronounced notes of pineapple, passion fruit, and pear in the nose, with a summery floral accent. The taste is fresh and juicy, with fruity sweetness and a soft, mild bitterness that keeps the beer perfectly balanced.
