Franschhoek Cellars Sauvignon Blanc ‘Statue de Femme’ 2020

The Sauvignon Blanc grapes come from the best vineyards located in Darling, Durbanville, and Stellenbosch. After temperature-controlled cool vinification, the wine remains on the lees for 4 months. To achieve a rich finish, a very small percentage of Semillon is also added.

This Sauvignon Blanc has aromas of tropical fruits such as grapefruit and pineapple. The wine is fresh with lovely soft fruity notes, including gooseberries, balanced by attractive acidity.

Franschhoek Cellars Sauvignon Blanc pairs excellently with various chicken dishes or fresh salads, for example, grilled prawns.

The elegant Statue de Femme monument was built to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the arrival of the French Huguenots at the Cape and is surrounded by a beautiful rose garden.
