General Information
Domaine Chevillon-Chezeaux Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Aux Champs Perdrix 2020 is an elegant and refined red Burgundy made from 100% Pinot Noir, originating from the northern part of the Nuits-Saint-Georges appellation. The Premier Cru Aux Champs Perdrix is famous for its fine location above the Combe de la Serrée, and generally produces more floral and delicate wines than the more powerful crus from the southern part of the commune.
The Domaine Chevillon-Chezeaux has a long history dating back to 1887, when Eugène-François Chevillon inherited some plots from his father. In 1999, Claire Chevillon took over the estate. She married Philippe Chezeaux, from a renowned wine family around Nuits-Saint-Georges. Since then, the estate bears both names.
Today, they manage just over 8 hectares, including top vineyards such as Les Saint-Georges. The vineyards are farmed organically, with attention to the terroir and low intervention in the cellar. The house’s style is classic Burgundy: concentration, finesse, aromatic richness, and elegance.

Fun Fact
The Premier Cru Aux Champs Perdrix is located directly next to the famous ‘Les Saint-Georges’ but on a higher, cooler spot. This results in wines with more floral expression and refinement — a style that perfectly suits the work of Claire and Philippe. In the warm year 2020, elegance was maintained thanks to the location, while the concentration is impressive.
