General Information
Bodegas LAN Crianza D-12 is a characterful red wine from the Rioja region of Spain. This wine is named after fermentation tank D-12, where, according to cellar masters, the finest wines traditionally emerged.
The wine is made primarily from Tempranillo from old vines in Rioja Alta and Rioja Alavesa. After fermentation, the wine matures for 12 months in new American and French oak barrels, followed by bottle aging to achieve further refinement. Bodegas LAN is known for its harmonious style in which fruit and wood blend perfectly.

Fun Fact
Bodegas LAN is one of the first Rioja wineries to systematically use both American and French oak in combination, to bring more complexity and refinement to their wines. This dual wood usage ensures that wines like D-12 are not only full of fruit but also develop subtle spicy and toasty layers that unfold beautifully during bottle aging.
