Known Italian wine made from white Cortese grapes. The grapes for this wine come from vineyards in the old Cortese region. The Cortese grapes thrive best on firm limestone soils and in a climate that is not too hot. This way, the grapes retain their characteristic high acidity. The bunches are lightly pressed and fermented at 15-16°C for 10 days. Afterwards, this Gavi continues to age in the bottle to develop its structure and traditional qualities.
Pale yellow in color with a hint of green. Wide aroma, with an intense bouquet, in which we smell flowers, vanilla, citrus fruit, lily of the valley, and bitter apples. A beautiful dry taste, full, balanced, and elegant with fresh acidity in the finish.
Excellent as an aperitif, but also a wine that pairs well with hors d’oeuvres, fish, shellfish, and seafood.
