General Information
Pio Cesare Barolo Pio DOCG is a classic and monumental Barolo from the heart of Piedmont. The wine is made from 100% Nebbiolo, sourced from renowned vineyards in, among others, Serralunga d’Alba, Grinzane Cavour, and Monforte. After manual harvesting, there is a prolonged maceration of 25–30 days in stainless steel, followed by a maturation of 30 months: partly in large oak casks, partly in barriques. This traditional approach results in a balanced and powerful Barolo that reflects the character of the entire region.
