Niepoort Ruby Port is a classic, young, and lively port wine from the Douro Valley in Portugal. This Ruby is a blend of young port wines that mature for a maximum of two years in wood. The grape varieties used are traditional and characteristic of the region, including Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional, and Touriga Franca. The average age of the vines is 30 years, contributing to the concentration and complexity of the fruit.

The color is deep dark purple with a bright intensity. On the nose, dominant notes of black fruit: cherries, plums, blueberries, and raisins. The aroma is powerful yet fresh. On the palate, Niepoort Ruby Port is sultry and rich, with a recognizable sweet profile. Ripe black fruit pairs beautifully with a hint of pure chocolate, resulting in an enticing but balanced finish.
