Hegyem Zöld Veltelini is an organic and vegan white wine from Hungary, made from Zöld Veltelini – the Hungarian name for the grape variety known internationally as Grüner Veltliner.
The wine is produced by Cisca Ansem, the Dutch winemaker behind Hegyem, who works with great precision, respect for nature, and her own signature. The wine is fermented in stainless steel, without oak influence, to preserve the pure, fresh character of the grape.
Like all Hegyem wines, the vinification is fully vegan and organically certified.
Tasting Profile of Hegyem Zöld Veltelini
The wine has a light yellow color with green reflections. On the nose, you discover green apple, lime, white pepper, and fresh herbs.
On the palate, the wine is light, dry, and lively, with fresh acidity, a subtle spicy bite, and a mineral, pure finish. The wine is elegant and thirst-quenching, with the typical freshness of Veltliner.
