General Information
Hegyem OlaszRizling BIO is a refined, organic white wine from Hungary, made from the local grape Olaszrizling. The wine is the work of Cisca Ansem, a dedicated winemaker who works with great precision, respect, and sensitivity to nature in the vineyards of Hegyem.
The fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, followed by several months of aging on the fine lees. By regularly stirring the lees, the wine gains extra structure and complexity. Each harvest year has its own nuances: in cooler years, the wine is fresher and spicier; in warmer years, it is riper and tropical in tone.
