General Information
Best Georgian Wines Mukuzani is a classic red wine from the protected designation of origin Mukuzani, one of the oldest appellations in Georgia. The wine is produced by Best Georgian Wine (BGW), a modern winery dedicated to accessible wines with an authentic character.
The wine is made from 100% Saperavi, harvested in the Kakheti region, and undergoes traditional vinification with aging in oak. This results in a powerful yet balanced wine with depth, structure, and aging potential.
Tasting Profile of Best Georgian Wines Mukuzani
The wine has a deep ruby color. On the nose, you find blackberry, black cherry, plum, cedarwood, and a hint of laurel.
On the palate, the wine is dry, full-bodied, and concentrated, with ripe dark fruit, spicy wood tones, ripe tannins, and a long finish. The oak aging adds complexity without overpowering the fruit.
