General information
The Bardos Rueda Verdejo is a beautiful white wine crafted with great skill in the Rueda region of Spain. This wine is made from 100% Verdejo grapes, sourced from vines that are 20 to 25 years old growing on stony soils at approximately 800 meters above sea level. Due to the significant temperature difference between day and night, the grapes ripen optimally, contributing to a perfect balance in the wine. The grapes are hand-harvested starting in mid-September, and the fresh juice undergoes cold fermentation to preserve the characteristic fresh flavors. Additionally, the wine rests on the lees for two months, which adds depth and refined complexity.
Taste profile
The Bardos Rueda Verdejo has a clear straw yellow color with green accents. On the nose, an intense aroma of tropical fruit emerges, with distinct notes of pineapple and passion fruit. There are also vegetal notes, harmoniously combined with subtle hints of peach and melon. This results in a lively and refreshing flavor profile that highlights the unique expression of the Verdejo grape.
