General Information
Amaranta Montepulciano D’Abruzzo is a powerful red wine from Tenuta Ulisse, made from late-harvested Montepulciano grapes from old vineyards near Lanciano in Abruzzo. The vines are 30–35 years old and grow in pergola, which provides protection against heat stress. Thanks to cool nights and a calcareous clay soil, the grapes develop exceptional aromatic intensity and freshness. Part of the harvest is lightly dried for extra concentration. After careful fermentation, the wine ages for 9 to 12 months in French and American oak barrels.
This 3-liter Jeroboam is not only a visual statement at the table but also offers oenological advantages: the larger volume allows for a slower evolution, enabling the wine to develop more calmly and retain its elegance better. Ideal for festive moments or sharing with a group.
Tasting Profile of Amaranta Montepulciano D’Abruzzo

The oak aging adds finesse and depth without overpowering the fruit. This is a distinctive wine with a long, warm finish and a full Mediterranean character.
