General Information
Wine People Red Blend Bolnisi is a dry red qvevri wine from the Bolnisi region in South Georgia. The wine is a blend of three indigenous grape varieties: Aladasturi, Asuretuli Shala, and Saperavi. These are fermented with the skins in traditional qvevris – embedded clay vats that ensure a pure, unfiltered expression of grape and terroir. Winemaker Giorgi Chkonia, a professional auto engineer, makes wine together with his brother in their cellar in Ratevani. A family tradition that they continue with dedication.
