This beautiful Dakishvili Red wine is made from the Saperavi and the Cabernet-Sauvignon grape. The Dakishvili family is a real winemaking family where wine making is passed down from generation to generation. Giorgi Dakishvili, once chief winemaker at Teliani Valley, now at Schuchmann / Vinoterra, also has his own vineyards Vita Vinea, Orgo / Teleda. For the first time, Giorgi has now made wines which he releases under the family name Dakishvili. And it is understandable why he proudly puts his name on these wines: they are fantastic wines!
The grapes are grown in the heart of the village of Kondoli on the right bank of the Alazani river in Kakheti.
