This Shalauri Mtsvane from Shalauri Cellars is truly a fantastic wine. The gentlemen from wijngekken.nl also thought so, and awarded this wine (2013) an unprecedented high score of 17.9 (on a scale of 20) – read the full tasting note here!
Due to the price tag, this wine unfortunately just missed out on a gold medal (which is awarded in Georgia!). However, this excellent score contributed to the wine selling out quickly. Luckily, we now have it back in our assortment, although it is again a small batch because it comes from a small vineyard.
