The Vinoterra Mukuzani comes from the Mukuzani region in Kakheti, one of Georgia’s best known and best-rated regions. It is located on the southwestern bank of the Alazani river, where the soil is clay and lime. This region is best known for its dry red wine from the Saperavi grape, which is generally longer in oak than in other regions.
This Vinoterra Mukuzani is produced in limited quantities of a few thousand bottles which are well matured, fresh and high quality grapes. Fermentation and a long aging in oak barrels create a wine with a unique taste and complexity.
This wine is also suitable for long storage in a cellar, the tannins are rounder and softer with age.
